Gracious staff, great food, cool history and a delightful view. If you're near Monroe, this is well worth a visit. I adored the whole experience. The turtles playing around in the river are an added entertainment value. The BBQ shrimp and those burgers...yum!

I had to call ahead and request my lunch be expedited ( time crunch ) The team went out of their way to serve me early, they took excellent care of our table. Always a favorite when celebrating something or remembering someone special! We enjoy the festive atmosphere, comfortable seating (inside or outside),great waitstaff and the quality of the food plus the exceptional wine choices. I tried something new this time and was delighted. Great experience as usual!👏We even split dessert!
Super friendly dog environment and amazing staff! First time in Monroe and these folks made us feel welcomed! Their food is great too! I enjoyed sitting outside on the patio where there keep it nice and cool with fans.
My daughter and I came from Bryan, Texas to visit Duck Commander and attend the Sunday service at WFR Church, among other places, and we found this restaurant. We sat on the patio watching the turtles and fish beg for food and had the most delightful dinner. The servers were very helpful and attentive but to say the food was delicious is totally an understatement, it was an adventure. I highly recommend the Shrimp Rakhee, it was Heavenly! My daughter had the grilled pork chops and gumbo & we shared a crawfish dip, all were very tasty. I will return if ever here again.

This business is, hands down, the best one I’ve been to in a very long time. The service has been amazing each time I’ve went in. I normally order to go on my lunch break but the wait times aren’t long at all compared to even fast food places these days. The staff has been extremely friendly both days I’ve gone in this week, with employees who aren’t even the ones helping me, acknowledging or saying goodbye as I left. The grilled chicken sandwich had a piece of chicken so large it was well beyond the size of the bread! It was cooked perfectly! Not dry at all!! And the hamburger was well worth the price because the patty was huge! I honestly can’t say enough good things about my experiences there thus far!
This place was amazing. Sat outside so quiet and not too hot. The Gumbo, shrimp Rakhee, and banana foster was the best!!! This should be a regular stop if you are traveling thru and want a great place to eat. Date night with my hubby❤️ and still have miles to go before stopping.
Great place! This place is full of culture. Lots of history on the walls. The menu is terrific and the staff is incredible. The view of the river is beyond words. Stopping here for a meal (and experience) is a must if you are in the Monroe area.
